Projected Earth

The soil, in a liquid state, is projected with a high pressure pump onto a support made of wooden lattice or steel frame/mesh. The soil characteristics must be very sandy or gravely and should be stabilised, in order to reduce the shrinkage.

This technique is a new development and is mostly used in western USA. David Easton does wonderful works, research and development: easton@rammedearthworks.com.
